Nick Wright (Director)
Nick is the Company Director / Owner of the business (where the buck stops!)
Nick is a very well experienced “all-rounder” having commenced his full 3-year apprenticeship in the late 1980’s he was trained by old school electricians that have given Nick the benefit of the wealth of their experience coupled with 30 years of his own!
Upon completion of his basic apprenticeship, Nick continued with the academic aspect of his trade obtaining the C course & Design course and constantly updating his knowledge with every new amendment and version of the regulations right up to date.
From 1991 Nick has been a Registered Qualifying Manager with the NIC EIC. Overseeing & carrying out works plus signing off installations in full compliance to all British standards from the 15th edition Wiring Regulations right up to date with the current 18th Edition Wiring regulations (BS7671).
In 2005 Nick worked closely with a very astute businessman, now close friend, managing a team of electricians on social housing and contract works, ranging from electrical upgrades, testing & reporting plus works to illuminate over a mile of internal corridors at one of Europe’s largest privately owned apartment blocks. Nick progressed to the Office and only returned to the tools when needed and for leading from the front purposes.
This insight into corporate and office operations of the business has also enabled Nick to understand the emphasis on the importance of the Client, their needs, and the ability to deliver where practicable, their expectations and to be able to manage staff and suppliers to maximum efficiency.
Nick started E.L.P. Electrical in March 2015 and the business has gone from strength to strength, offering a high-quality electrical service at a reasonable price. This ethos has enabled us to grow an impressive client base with quality foremost. Plus, through our successful marketing, we are increasing this client list daily.
Now the team grows ever larger enabling us to have more satisfied customers.
